Pain associated with the back region is often quite high and sometimes requires quick relief which is unfortunately not possible if it is a case of sciatica because the underlying conditions can be many. The only other option is to go in for a consultancy with a doctor and start taking some precautionary sciatic nerve pain relief measures. These measures include the use of ice packs on aching regions of the body and doing some simple exercise routines whenever you feel too much pain in your lower back.
The simple exercises consist of lying down on your bare back prostate on the floor and raising the buttocks upwards just slightly so that you can get the palms of your hands under them. Then you need to apply pressure evenly to each bum so that the pain feels reduced. Keep this position for some time until you feel better and then let go. The key to this exercise routine is that you will have to move around afterwards for the pain to stay subsided.
